Emmett was raised in Saraland, Alabama
While growing up, with his family, he was involved in the building industry, selling, building, and refurbishing homes. He attended the University of Alabama where he received a BS degree in business with a major in Real Estate and a minor in Insurance. He worked in real estate in his father's company. He listed and sold properties and assisted customers to build homes on their lots.
Emmett was very impressed while visiting Houston with the business opportunities available, where he met and married his wife. They have two great kids and four grandchildren.
He started his own company, Emmett Vickery Inc., building custom homes in the Houston area. He developed a Model Home Park with a selection of several homes to choose from. He also built spec homes in several subdivisions throughout the Houston area.
His company had several real estate professionals who assisted in the home buying process.
He gravitated towards the foreclosure market, buying, remodeling, and selling homes. He had the opportunity to work as a project manager aiding in the development of three major subdivisions in the Kingwood area.
After his building and developing endeavors, he is currently working at Anne Vickery & Associates Realty as a Realtor, listing and selling acreage, and commercial properties in the Northeast area of Houston.
